The Barclays ATP World Tour Finals is the year-end tournament featuring the best eight singles players and best eight doubles teams in the world, to be played in November at the O2 Arena, London. In association with Progressive Marketing London & Barclays, we created a memorable experience for the tennis fans.

About the project

The challenge was to create a tennis game supporting the Barclays advertising campaign for the Pingit app. We came up with the idea of creating five tabletop tennis games in the fanzone of the O2 Arena. The fans competed in a retro/futuristic tennis match based on a motion detection gameplay. Helped by the Kinect sensor, we created an "interface free" tennis game.

My Role

I led the concept and gameplay working closely with Progressive Marketing Team to create the five tabletops, from structure to the final setup. I teamed up with Florence Rampin for the interface design and motion layouts. I wrote the code of the software (AS3 + Java).
